On Wednesday, Think Fast came to SMC to give a presentation on safe driving to our student body. Students participated in many activities, including dancing, acting, and trivia competitions. The overall winners even received a $100 Amazon gift card! This was an amazing experience, and the Think Fast team did an excellent job promoting safe driving.

St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School: Staff Announcement (3/3)
We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Alex (McCormick) Grimaldi to St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School as our new 5th grade teacher.
Mrs. Grimaldi brings eight years of classroom experience, beginning her teaching career at Webb City Middle School, where she taught for four years. She later moved to Arizona while her husband, Nate Grimaldi (SMC Class of 2013), attended medical school, spending three years there as a 4th grade teacher. This school year, she has served as a long-term substitute at Resurrection Catholic School in Wichita. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Grimaldi back to her alma mater (SMC Class of 2014) and look forward to the passion for teaching and experience she brings to our faculty and school community.

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Jesus Medina to St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School as our new 3rd grade teacher.
Mr. Medina brings nine years of teaching experience, including time spent teaching preschool and 2nd grade. He currently serves as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Holy Name Catholic School in Coffeyville. We are excited to have Mr. Medina join our faculty and look forward to the faith, knowledge, and dedication he will bring to our St. Mary’s school community.
