We did it!! We made it through the first day of school! We are SO proud of you, Panthers! 💙 Happy Back to School, everyone! Remember, He chose you—now make it the best year ever! 🐾

Our Panther Cheer and Dance teams helped welcome our elementary students to their first day of school! From big smiles to big cheers, they made sure our youngest Panthers kicked off the year with plenty of school spirit! Welcome back, Panthers! Let’s make it a GREAT year! 🐾💙

Sr. Mary Francesca, IHM and Sr. Mary Grace, IHM had lunch with Gianna Emanuela Molla, the daughter of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, whom St. Gianna gave birth to shortly before her death. What a beautiful and special opportunity! ❤️🙏

It was a joy to have our parents on campus last night for Back to School Parent meetings!  Only 4 sleeps until the first day of school.  We can’t wait!

📣 Sports Physical Reminder SMC students in grades 7–12 participating in sports (including cheer and dance) must have a current physical and required medical forms on file each year. 8/17/26 No forms = no practice. 📄 Forms downloadable at: OLLsmc.org/panthers

It was wonderful to see Dr. Gianna Molla, daughter of Saint Gianna, at the Midwest Catholic Family Conference yesterday!

We also didn’t realize Pope Leo would be available for souvenir photos! 😂 He didn’t say much, but we were still honored to meet him.

We brought home Dr. Gianna’s book, which will be available in the library, along with some wonderful advice. She reminded us that practicing medicine is a mission, not simply a job, and she assured us that she will be praying for us.

A truly special experience!
