Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) is very important to the youth of our parish here at Our Lady of Lourdes - it provides our students with opportunities to grow in their faith, grow in their relationships and friendships with one another, and move ever closer to God.
Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) at Our Lady of Lourdes is vibrant and strong! CYM provides our JH/HS students opportunities to grow in faith and friendship outside of the normal school structure. These include monthly CYM gatherings, GRACE & Knights, Young Apostles, Mission Trips, and summer retreats including Steubenville and the “Let’s Go!” Retreat. These opportunities, however, would not be possible without your generous gift of stewardship. Please consider giving your time to help volunteer at a few fundraising opportunities for CYM - the money we raise during these events help make CYM possible for not only this year but also for years to come. Yesterday SME/SMC students, faculty, and staff participated in a school-wide Eucharistic Procession, which ended with a St. Joseph consecration prayer and benediction. Thank you to Father Labenz for coordinating this powerful faith experience for our students!

Colgan Football Fans: the football jamboree this Friday (8/27) starting at 7pm at PSU stadium. Fans are encouraged to tailgate at the west shelter behind the PSU stadium starting at 5pm. Please bring your own food and drink for this Friday’s tailgate. Details on future tailgates will go out soon. Admission is a case of bottled water to donate to SMC football. Trucks will be parked near the tailgate area to collect the donations. We would love to see a great turnout for Friday night to to cheer on the Panthers. All are welcome!
