As a model of living his life surrendering to others, this Novena will help us prepare for the Christian burial of Fr. Emil Kapaun. We encourage all parents and families to pray with us. Happy Feast of the Triumph of the Cross! During Lent we focus on repentance and how Christ suffered out of love for us. Today, however, we CELEBRATE the triumph of the Cross over death, and how the Cross gives us hope and joy.
Tomorrow we celebrate Our Lady of Sorrows. This is a special devotion of our IHM Sisters - it's the reason they wear dark blue, and the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady (also known as the 7 Dolors). Our IHM Sisters have made some Dolor Rosaries which are in the back of the church if you'd like one.
Tomorrow our students will be praying the Dolor Rosary and we invite you to pray too.
