Junior High Art students made homemade candles for the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord tomorrow, also known as Candlemas day. Father Labenz even stopped by at the end of class to bless the candles for the students! We pray that these students will be light-bearers who will help spread Jesus’ kingdom on earth. Amen!

This year, Fiat Ministries will host two Mother/Daughter events in Wichita, one on Saturday, March 5th at St. Thomas Aquinas and another on Sunday, March 6th at St. Francis of Assisi. Girls from kindergarten to 8th grade are invited to a luncheon and afternoon of activities from 11:00am to 2:00pm, to encounter religious sisters from various religious communities associated with the CMSWR. Mothers or other influential women in the girls' lives are asked to participate. Space is limited to the first 50 families. Please register at https://fiatministries.org/mother-daughter/ by Sunday, February 27. The cost for this event is $10 a person or up to $30 a family.
