Last week, our Lenten challenge Wednesday was to write a letter to someone! First graders chose a special person and wrote them a heartfelt letter.
Look at these cute "Cats" in hats! Thing one and thing two writing piece was about whether or not they would tell their Mom they came while she was gone. 14 said yes, but 3 said no, they would not tell. (Follow up lesson- ALWAYS tell your parents!) Tomorrow's author is Christian writer, Max Lucado, plus more Seuss fun.

Third graders celebrated Read Across America week by reading some Dr. Suess books (birthday today) and creating our own Suess inspired characters!
