St. Bernadette Soubirous’ relics to be venerated at Our Lady of Lourdes in Pittsburg, KS next week! We will have the opportunity to pray in front of her remains, be blessed with the healing waters of Lourdes, and ask the Lord, through St. Bernadette’s intercession, for healing and blessings. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Monday, July 4 ● 8:00am Opening Mass with Procession of relics & rosary ● 9am-5:00pm Veneration of relics in the church* ● 9:30am-11am Virtual Guided Pilgrimage to Lourdes/Presentation in the church Tuesday, July 5 ● 6:00am-6:00pm Veneration of relics in the church* ● 7:00pm Evening Mass with relics in the church ● 8:00pm Rosary and Anointing of the Sick in the church ● 8:30pm Candlelight Procession on Our Lady of Lourdes campus ending with a special blessing in the church Wednesday, July 6 ● 6:00am-9:00pm Veneration of relics in church* * Visitors are welcome to come visit and pray with her relics at any of the veneration times listed above!! Students are making pillowcases and embroidering school uniform polos this week at the Sewing & Embroidery Camp! All school uniform tops will be embroidered in-house next year through a collaborative project with Mrs. Holden & Mrs. Weber’s students. More details coming soon!

06/17/2022 Dear Panther Families: Wes Streeter, our SMC 7-12 principal, will be taking a position with PSU beginning in July. Dennis Burke, president of SMC will be taking on the duties of interim building principal for the upcoming school year. Cody Spencer will be the full time assistant principal and athletic director. We wish Wes the best in his future endeavors.
