Dear OLL and SMC/SME parish and school family,
This past weekend, I met with Bishop Kemme regarding his plans for my future. He has decided to reassign me this coming summer. While the location is yet to be finalized, he did tell me that I would be moving on from OLL/SMC. I announced this news to our JH & HS students this morning at Mass and to our SME students following their afternoon rosary.
This has honestly been the best five years of my life. We have a tremendous parish and school, so many amazing families and parishioners, and such a great group of students. What an amazing blessing it has been to be a part of this incredible school and parish family! Thank you for all the love and support you have shown to me throughout my time here!
Please keep me in your prayers today and these next few weeks!

They advance to play today (5/14) vs Jayhawk Linn at 3pm in Humboldt**

SMCSoftball: 5/13 game moved to PSU due to field conditions. Start time is 5:30pm.
Admission set by KSHSAA: $12/adult and $6/student (K-12).
HSBaseball: 5/15 Regionals at JC Ballpark: SMC vs Northeast at 2pm, Uniontown vs Erie at 4pm. Winners play at 6pm.
BoysGolf: Regionals at Eureka has been canceled for tomorrow (5/13) and moved to Tuesday (5/14) due to rain.
Culinary class made homemade pesto for their moms for Mother's Day, from the basil that we grew in our tower garden in class.

Today the Class of 2024 ended their season in the halls of SMC. Tomorrow they will officially graduate! This is the last time we will call them our Seniors.

The final for seniors enrolled in the SMC Culinary class was to organize, prepare and serve a breakfast for the retired faculty and staff of St. Mary's Colgan Catholic Schools. We had a lovely morning celebrating our teachers in this way during Teacher Appreciation Week and were honored to visit with several retired faculty.
