Happy National School Counselors Week to our very own Mrs. Krusich!

Ash Wednesday is February 14, 2024
Mass Times at OLL are 6:30am, 8am, 11:30am, and 5:30pm.
Spanish Mass at 7pm.
Masses will be celebrated at SPX at Noon and 9pm.

Today is both the feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple and the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life. Our four IHM sisters carried blessed and lighted candles into Mass today, which is evocative of the wise virgins carrying lighted lamps to meet the Lord at his coming. Our IHM Sisters also renewed their religious vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience in the presence of our faculty, staff, and students. We are so blessed to have our IHM sisters teaching our K-12 students here at SME & SMC! Please keep them in your prayers today!

Yesterday we had our annual CSW Eucharistic Procession throughout campus. Such a beautiful new tradition!

Don't forget: early release next Wednesday, Feb 7th. Students will dismiss at 12pm Noon. Lunch will be served to Elementary students only.

Prayer for the Youth —
Dear Lord,
Be with our young people this week and always — keep them in Your care. Help them to form godly friendships, speak the truth, and know You in the personal way that will challenge, shape, and guide them. Amen. #CSW24

First Grade visited the Ronald McDonald House this week. Students made Valentines and decorations to take there. They also brought in items to donate as well as monetary donations and gift cards. Donations were for the guests staying at the RMH. Students were given a tour and learned about how the house operates and who they help.
We enjoyed our trip and getting to help our community, especially during CSW!
