Yesterday, Father Jerome visited some of the 4-6 classrooms with scapulars and Miraculous Medals. He shared the story of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and the Fransiscan order who wear the brown scapular as part of their habit. He prayed the investiture prayer and blessed the scapulars as he presented them to the students. He also talked about St. Katherine Laboure, whom Mary asked to have a medal made with her image as Our Lady of Grace. The students loved receiving this gift from Father and enjoyed learning about the tradition of wearing these blessed sacramentals. Thank you, Father Jerome!

Softball Update: A weather reschedule with St. James Academy has been set for May 4th. SMC will host at Stice Field. The team will play one varsity game at 4:30pm.
Update on Boys Golf: SMC tournament has been rescheduled for 4/27 at 3pm @Home (Crestwood). Columbus tournament is moved to 4/29 at 1pm @Columbus.
Congratulations to SMC Senior Carissa Marrone! Carissa auditioned for the Pitt State dance team and made it!
The Columbus track meet scheduled for today (4/20) has been postponed and moved to Monday, April 26th.
