7-12th grade Auditions for the fall musical, “Matilda” will be Mon, Aug 23 from 6:30-8pm in the HS Auditorium. Students must have two minutes of a song prepared.

Dear Panther Families,
By now many of you are aware of the updated guidelines from our county on the mitigation of COVID-19 in schools.
We are aware that some districts in our area have already made a decision regarding masks for the start of the school year. Given that we start later than some of the county schools, we have decided to delay our decision for another week.
Please watch for communication on Wednesday, August 11th regarding the policies at St. Mary's Colgan Catholic Schools for the start of the 2021-22 school year.
We are in continued communication with the Catholic School Office at the diocese regarding the best course of action.
Once again, we will be working with the Pittsburg Family YMCA to offer after school care for our K-6th graders. Interested parents must sign their child up through the Pittsburg YMCA and not the school office. The program runs from 3:15-5:45pm every day except days when we dismiss early. The After School Program is held on the SMC campus. Spaces are limited. For more information, please contact the YMCA at (620) 231-1100
PSU Ready Courses for SMC - Refer to the enrollment form or the PSU Ready flyer to see the classes offered Fall 2021. If the student is taking one of these classes this semester, they have the option to earn college credit if they choose to enroll for PSU credit. This is available on the high school campus at a special tuition rate of $105 per credit hour or $315 per three-hour class. More information linked here: https://5il.co/wgky
