Conservation District 2021 Speech Contest "Where Would We Bee Without
Pollinators" held on October 7, 2021! She will advance to the Kansas
Association of Conservation Districts 2021 Area V Speech Contest that
will be held in early Nov.
The conservation district encourages high school students to become a
voice for conservation by participating in the annual speech contest.
These students are our future leaders and thank you for helping to give
them the experience they need to carry on the message of conservation.

The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. (FBINAA) hosts a week long training event for high school students at the FBI Academy every summer called the Youth Leadership Program {YLP).
In 2021 the KS/WMO chapter selected Grant Hite to attend the 22nd session of YLP. Grant is the son of Stu Hite (Session #240) and Amy Hite. Grant is a freshman at St Mary's Colgan High School in Pittsburg, KS and is active in football, baseball, and several school-related groups and activities. Grant is grateful for the opportunity to attend the Youth Leadership Program ad describes it as a life-changing experience. He stays in contact with most of his YLP Session 22 mates through their social media chats.
