Kaila competed last week at the Shawnee Mission District Inv with 21 schools — 18 of them 6A! She earned 2 new personal bests and helped her relays drop major time! 9th in 100 Fly (40 girls) 8th in 100 Back (59 girls) Crushed it against tough competition — great job, Kaila!

04/28: Bella Ascanio logged her 200th career strikeout tonight against the Columbus Titans! Khyla Osborn and Kylee Kretchmar hit home runs! Lady Panthers split with the Titans each team winning one in the double header.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 🌟 A huge thank you to Mrs. Beth Smith, Mrs. Debbie Smith, Mrs. Cindy Otter, and Ms. Vicky Salas for all you do. Your hard work, care, and organization keep everything running smoothly—and we appreciate you more than words can say!

Seniors in Culinary class traveled to Columbus this morning to tour Bailie's Bakery Cafe and Smittle House. Bailie Saiz, owner of Bailie's Bakery, shared her experience transitioning to a custom order kitchen based in her home to a storefront specializing in croissants that opened in November. She shared about the influence from traveling abroad, being a self-taught baker, and entrepreneur in her hometown. The seniors then attended an etiquette brunch at the Smittle House, an authentic 1907 bed and breakfast. The owners and chef were very gracious and welcoming to our SMC Panthers!
