Jeck

We are pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Stu Jeck as our new JHHS Weights/PE/Tech/Assistant Baseball Coach and the 4th Head Football Coach since 1961.

Stu Jeck is a 2009 graduate of St. Mary’s Colgan and a 2016 graduate of Pittsburg State University, where he earned a master’s degree in Health, Human Performance, and Recreation. Coach Jeck is currently in his 11th year of education and coaching.

As a student-athlete at Colgan, Coach Jeck was a three-sport athlete and a member of five state championship teams and five state runner-up teams. He later returned to St. Mary’s Colgan as a teacher and an assistant coach in football and baseball from 2014 to 2019, working under Coach Smith in football and Coach Watt in baseball. During that time, he was part of two state championship teams and the Panthers’ most recent football state runner-up team in 2017 under Coach Seematter.

Most recently, Coach Jeck served as the head coach, defensive coordinator, and strength and conditioning coach at Manitou Springs High School in Colorado, where he helped lead the Mustangs’ to the 2021 state championship.
